AI TEXTING EXPLAINED

What is Responsive AI Texting?

Responsive AI texting is essentially the action of AI responding to any message a lead sends. Both Drip and Behavioral text conversations will transfer to an AI Text thread only after a lead responds to a message. AI will never initiate a conversation with an AI text message, only a Drip or Behavioral text.

Once a new lead registration text is sent to the lead, the AI engages in several ways:
- Added value by recommending properties
- AI finds out the time frame and location of interest
- Gathers lead budget, bed, and bath preferences
- Finds out pre-qualification status
- Finds out if they own a home and if they have an agent
- Confirms the lead's interest in follow up appointments by adding a hand raiser alert

What is Pro-Active AI Texting? (Drip Texts)


Proactive AI Texting combines the true power of artificial intelligence with our 24/7 monitoring of consumer search behavior to create a system that automatically communicates with leads, answers their questions, and provides buyers and sellers with relevant, on-point property & market information.

AI texting will reach out to new leads proactively. On average, to get a meaningful response from a prospect, we send out seven texts to get one response. 

This texting feature type can be referred to as a “drip text” and is a part of the paid AI texting for your Ylopo license.

What is Behavioral Texting?

Behavioral text messages are an initial text message sent to the Lead in response to a certain behavior performed on the Home Search Site.

Ylopo only texts your prospects in response to their engagement on your home search website.

On average, one text is sent to a lead every two months (0.5 texts per month per lead).

Behavioral texting is included in the Ylopo platform and your Ylopo license.

  • For fully two-way CRMS like Follow Up Boss, you can allow your AI texts to only engage with your preferred stages. Email support@ylopo.com to advise which lead stages your AI text feature can egage with. You can also manage your AI in Stars. View how here.

  • Ylopo will add a tag to your leads with a specific AI tag depending on the conversation and lead response. These tags include AI_ENGAGED, AI_NEEDS_FOLLOW_UP, AI_NOT_INTERESTED, AI_OPT_OUT. We will also text and email the assigned agent when a lead responds to your AI texts.

  • AI texting can also work with Seller leads effectively. Your AI texting incorporates our seller report into her messaging to attempt to check if the lead received the report we sent. She also is able to scan your database and find the number of buyers looking for a home like the leads.

  • This is not a current feature. AI drip types are set up based on the lead source type, ex. nurture or request information.
